Blog #5: Dream Job
I come from Vietnam, which is a small beautiful country in the Southeast Asia. After I graduated from Foreign Trade University in 2010, I worked in two logistics company for six years with three years as a manager. Four years ago, I helped my brother to startup family business in shoes manufacture. I worked two jobs at the same time to enrich my experience. I had chances to travel to Thailand and Korea, which are capital and developed countries. And then I realize that I want to study MBA in the USA to change my life and help my brother's company too. I like spending time with family, friends; and traveling to many natural places. I also like music with different kinds and languages. Though I'm a practical person, but I like romance and love to enjoy arts by myself.
When I was a child, one time I watched a fashion show. And I wish I could become a famous model. That many people will take pictures for me. It is ridiculous that when I grow up, people still can take picture for me, but it is just all. I have no door to become a professional model :D
Another time, maybe when I was ten years old, I watched a movie about Formula 1 prize. I thought that when I grow up, I will become an F-1 driver. I can drive a car with high speed around the stadium. It was a crazy dream and my friends teased me that "Are you a boy or girl?". But this dream can reflect myself that I do not want to have a normal life, I like challenge and something news everyday.
The older we are, the more practical we see. My family was very poor and I did not have much money or toys like other friends. Every time I feel lack of something, I wish that I will be a business woman. So I can earn a lot of money, do anything I want and help the poor people like my family before. I studied external economic, tried to sell any legal things since I was at high school for benefits. And now I am studying English in order to get an MBA to support for my future.
On the other hand, I also want to studying painting or photography, but I do not have many choice. Someone said that dream has no tax, why we don't dream. Thus, I just dream, consider my ability and passion, then proceed it.
